About Us

Hi, we’re Ashley and Allan, a part-time travel couple based out of Columbus, Ohio.

We’re your typical midwest millennials, but our love for travel has taken us both on wild adventures around the world!

Ashley has lived in California for over a decade, taught English in Poland, was a travel correspondent in Italy, an actress in Hollywood and a TV News reporter in Ohio!

Allan, Michigan born and bred, has taken every minute of his time off to explore the world - from hiking the mountains of Oregon, to exploring the ruins of Tulum, Mexico, the waterfalls of St. Lucia, to getting lost in the streets of Montmartre.

If there’s one thing we know for sure - it’s that travel is the best thing to spend your money on, and we love sharing our adventures with the world, and showing you how you can stretch your dollar (and your PTO) to get your most adventurous experience!

So we combined our passion for exploration and producing content and our mission to share stories and connect cultures and communities to form our YouTube Channel, The Adventures of Ashley & Allan.

Ashley is your upbeat, informative planner, with a TV News and entertainment/producing background, and Allan brings the practical, level-headed navigation, openness, and hilarious sarcastic balance to bring some levity and fun to our informative content.

We know travel is often seen as a luxury, between time and money… and can often seem like something unobtainable and out-of-reach, but we’ve also seen first-hand how important it is to get out of your comfort zone, to meet different cultures, explore atmospheres you didn’t even know existed… that’s why we are so passionate about our mission…
